Verifiable API calls, or it didn’t happen. I’m getting sick and tired of people posting pictures from their YouTube or Medium account dashboards showing how much money they made like it’s some sort of proof. I want these platforms to give an option for creators to allow public read permissions…

I’m pretty skeptical of people who follow me, and have offered nothing in terms of reviewing my work, and they already have a several hundred person following. It just doesn’t add up. I’d like the option to not see the names of the people who follow me, because it’s not interesting to me, and seems like a sleazy way to get a free ad on somebody’s notification feed. Asking Medium to implement this for god’s sake, to stop this platform from becoming the same cross promotional drivel drip Hellscape that is LinkedIn.

I’m a simple man. I like falsifiable claims when it comes down to transactional relationships. I pay YouTube $12 a month for an ad free experience, and YouTube automatically updates my account to free my time up. I pay Medium.com $5 a month to be able to read unlimited articles…
